Know when to paddle in

Free to play, yet strictly 18+: here is why

Social casino games copy the look, sound and pace of real gambling. Swelltide Cove is for adults above the legal gambling age only and is not aimed at anyone under 18. Your age is checked twice: on the banner you see when you arrive, and again with a tick on the form when you open an account.

Promises from the cove

• We will never offer or promote real-money gambling at the cove.
• We will never hand out prizes of real-world value.
• We will never sell coins or add in-app purchases.
• We will never link to gambling operators or affiliates.
• We never use countdowns or streaks to pull you back.

A straight word from Wenlo

A free game can be set up to feel generous, and it tops your coins back up for nothing. Real-money games do neither. A good run here tells you nothing about how you would get on with money at stake.

Signs to keep an eye on, like a rip current

• Staying out on the water far longer than you meant to.
• Getting cross when it is time to come ashore.
• Spinning to get away from however you are feeling.
• Losing sleep, work time or time with friends to it.
• Catching yourself searching for a real-money version of the cove.

How to stay in charge

• Set a finishing time before the first spin.
• Leave autoplay switched off, every time.
• Sit out a set every so often.
• Clearing this site’s data resets everything, and you can block the site in your device settings if you want to stop for good.
